About Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented P2M Offline Merchant Onboarding Specialist with mandatory experience in merchant KYC. The role involves end-to-end handling of the offline merchant onboarding process, ensuring compliance with KYC norms, and providing a seamless onboarding experience. Candidates with prior experience in merchant KYC are encouraged to apply. (Note: Internal candidates from MX are not eligible for this role.

Job Position: P2M Offline Merchant Onboarding Specialist

Department: Merchant Onboarding

Location: Bangalore

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Merchant Onboarding: Handle the end-to-end offline onboarding process for merchants, ensuring all steps are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • KYC Verification: Perform detailed checks on merchant KYC documents to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Process Adherence: Ensure all onboarding activities comply with company policies, regulatory guidelines, and established SLAs.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with sales teams, business development, and compliance teams to resolve issues and expedite onboarding.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance the onboarding process, reduce TAT, and improve merchant satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Generate and share periodic reports on onboarding status, KYC compliance, and key metrics with stakeholders based on the business requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 0- 3  years of experience in merchant onboarding, KYC verification, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of merchant KYC (Domestic) norms and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle merchant queries and collaborate with internal teams.
  • Proficiency in tools like Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Be an active listener and deal well with objection
  • Have strong customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different scenarios
  • Be a team player, flexible and open to feedback
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Should be able to speak in English and Hindi
  • 10+2 is Mandatory 
  • 0 – 1 years of work experience in a customer facing role
  • Multilingual skills (spoken + written) in South Indian languages are preferred
