Position Overview:
- We are looking for a Strategy Manager to own and drive subscription growth and retention across our Telugu and Tamil verticals.
- This role is rooted in business strategy and requires:
- Strong analytical mindset
- Comfort with ambiguity
- Deep understanding of consumer behavior
- Ability to deliver measurable impact on subscriber metrics
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify growth levers, define strategic priorities, and drive outcomes.
Work Responsibilities:
- Lead retention and growth strategy for subscription products across Telugu & Tamil audiences
- Analyze user cohorts, churn behavior, and lifetime value to identify actionable insights
- Define and own subscription health metrics; forecast growth and track KPIs (ARPU, CLTV, Retention, Winback Rate)
- Partner with product, analytics, and content teams to improve stickiness and reduce churn
- Build business cases for pricing changes, bundling opportunities, and new product launches
- Present data-backed recommendations and strategic roadmaps to senior leadership
- Track industry benchmarks, competitor strategies, and regional consumption patterns
Qualifications:
- MBA from a Tier-1 B-School (IIMs, ISB, XLRI, FMS, etc.)
- 2–5 years of experience in strategy, consulting, growth, or retention roles (consumer tech/OTT preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret large datasets
- Familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) – Added advantage
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with high ownership
- Proficiency in Telugu and/or Tamil – Strong plus
